The Directors of the Trust wish to appoint several dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and enthusiastic HLTAs to support the pupils at Adelaide School.

Adelaide School is a special school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Our staff are trained in strategies to support and build relationships with children and young people to ensure engagement in education. Many of our children and young people have missed time in education due to their individual needs and therefore may have significant gaps in their learning.

We are looking for motivated and flexible HLTAs to deliver education to our pupils.

The roles could be full or part time dependant on the experience and availability of candidates.

One HLTA role is to deliver English Interventions to pupils on a 1:2:1 or in a small group.

One HLTA role is to deliver Maths Interventions to pupils on a 1:2:1 or in a small group.

One HLTA role is to deliver Outdoor Education to small groups of pupils.

(Could be combined with other advertised cleaning role- Making a 15 hour role)

Governors of the school wish to appoint a conscientious, hardworking, trustworthy cleaner to join our site team. The successful applicant should be able to work alone as well as part of a team.

The role involves cleaning duties throughout the school such as vacuuming and polishing, and deep cleaning duties during the holidays.

Hours of work will be 10 per week, to be worked from 3.00pm-5pm Monday to Friday during term time. Hours of work during holiday period will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

The Directors of the Trust wish to appoint a dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and enthusiastic HLTA in a Contextual Safeguarding and Attendance role to join the teams at Adelade School and Adelaide Heath Academy

Adelaide School in Crewe and Adelaide Heath Academy in Knutsford are special schools for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are looking for a motivated, flexible member of staff to work across both sites delivering interventions to vulnerable pupils at risk of becoming involved in criminal behaviour and those whose level of attendance needs addressing.

This is a varied role working closely with pupils, parents, carers, the safeguarding teams as well as the wider school staff, adhering to both school’s safeguarding procedures and policies to promote the welfare and protection of all pupils and students attending both sites. You will keep meticulous records, track trends and suggest improvements with the aim of continually enhancing both school’s approach to contextual Safeguarding and attendance. You should have good interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team, good communication skills, be flexible and proactive and have a good knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and practice.
