Adelaide School is very excited to start working towards their Green Flag award as part of Eco-Schools. This will involve pupils from different years forming a committee to see how we can make changes to our schools environment and our community to become more eco-friendly and sustainable.
So far, our environment group have already taken place in various activities such as - planting trees, litter picking, volunteering at a nature reserve, farm visits, creating a bug hotel, bird and bat boxes, making recycled art, forest school and planting flowers and vegetables in our courtyard garden.
We are having our first meeting on 8th November and are looking forward to getting started on our Eco journey!
