Pupils were visited by Professor Brainstorm and his wacky assistant Sophie for a morning of Mad Science. Pupils tried out a range of experiments which included balloon kebabs, lava cups and volcanos. The Professor challenged them to predict reactions, look for patterns and avoid explosions (That's how he lost the top half of his hair). Pupils gazed in wonder as he pierced a balloon with a kebab stick and it did not burst. They then jumped when they tried it and it did burst - although we did have a few successful attempts.
