'To help young people help themselves'

My Voice

At Adelaide School, we promote a positive culture of pupil voice and are committed to listening to the views, wishes and experiences of all children and young people in a safe environment. We place value on what children and young people tell us about their experiences and what they say is valued and will be listened to and considered. Students are encouraged to take on leadership roles and responsibilities within the school community. Pupil voice groups such as the student council,  safeguarding group, PRISM (LGBTQ) and the Eco-schools group involves students in decision-making processes around school and can empower them to take an active role in shaping their learning experiences. This gives students, staff, and governors opportunities to work collaboratively in self-evaluation, planning and designing solutions together.
